The "Hellenic Association of Risk Managers" (www.harima.gr) member of FERMA (Federation European of Risk Management Associations, www.ferma.eu) & FECMA (Federation of European Credit Management Associations, www.fecma.eu), with the support of "Academics University of London Worldwide", SEV and in collaboration with the "Risk Training Institute" of ICAP CRIF, present the "Risk Management for Board Members & Audit Committee" training program.
Description
The objective of this module is to present, in depth and with a practical orientation, the Role of Risk officer and Risk management in listed entities. The module analyses the requirements of law 4606/2020 for Corporate Governance and provide guides in order for Risk Officers to prepare a Risk Management Report for Board Members and Audit Committees. The main parts of the module are presented below: The role of the Risk Officer based in law 4706/2020 Definition and Identification of the Risk The necessity of Risk Management Policy in listed companies How to prepare a Risk Management Report ESG and Risk Management
This module is aimed mainly to Risk Officers, Auditors , Company Board Members and Audit Committees members.
Participants will have the opportunity to learn basic concepts of risk management as well as the requirements of risk management in listed companies. The critical role of the Risk Officer in the listed companies of Greece will be presented. Special reference will be made to ESG issues and how they are related to risk management. Finally, the issues of reports and communication with the audit committee and the Boards of Directors of the companies and what they expect from a Risk Officer based on the Risk Management Standards will be discussed at length.
