Anna Damaskou PhD

Anna has 15 years of working experience in the areas of regulatory compliance of banking institutions (NBG, UBS, Black Sea Trade and Development Bank) and supervision of the banking and financial sector [ECB, Securities and Exchange Commission]. Deeply committed to the values and objectives of Transparency International, she has served as researcher in the past, while from 2017 to 2020 she served as a pro bono ) President of its Greek annex. He holds a law degree [Democritus University of Thrace], a master’s degree in legal science [LLM – London School of Economics and Political Science], a PhD (The Queen Mary University of London) and has also carried out postdoctoral research in the same subject [University of Luxembourg] ]. He has taught and published extensively on issues of good governance and the fight against corruption. She is a member of the Athens Bar Association; she speaks English, French, German and Serbian.
Matilda is a frequent speaker on the topics of global innovation and digital disruption. She is also an avid cook and history buff. You can find him dining late at night with the chefs of the hotels where he stays during his travels, or reading in his home library.
