Vasilis Kratsas
Member of the Hellenic Association of Risk Managers
Vasilis was born in Athens in 1971. He graduated the Faculty of Electrical Engineering of TEI Chalkida in 1993 and obtained a Post Graduate Diploma (leading to MSc) in Electrical Power Engineering from the University of Strathclyde in 1996. In the past, Vasilis has worked in the area of CE certification of electric and electronic devices. He joined the insurance industry in 1997, and worked in one of Greece’s most notable
Loss adjusting firms. He has a long track of experience in property and casualty claims management and advisory, risk assessment and asset valuations. In addition to that, he has also high specialty in cargo claims management.
Since 2008, Vasilis has joined the list of Hellenic State’s Judicial Forensic Loss Adjusters and is specialized in the investigation of fire and explosion incidents, assessment of loss compensations and asset evaluations. In 2008, Vasilis co-founded and became co-CEO of Fair Consulting which provides claims assessment and advocacy services to insurance policy holders, insurance brokers, lawyers and any other party who has been involved in an insurance claim and aims to achieve a fair and well timed settlement. Fair Consulting is also active in other insurance advisory related services such as property risk surveys, asset valuations, root cause analysis and investigation of loss incidents, casualty and combined property and business Interruption cases.
Vasilis is a member of the Hellenic Association of Risk Managers (HARIMA).
