Dr. Evangelia Louropoulou since 2019 is occupied to E-ON INTEGRATION A.E. company. She participates in all projects of the company as an environmental and climate change risk consultant following international reference standards and guidelines. She deals with the expansion of risk registers and the updating of the company’s software with risks related to environmental management and climate change issues. Her work includes, among other things, the quantification of business risks with data analysis techniques, the use of external databases and climate scenarios (RCP) for the prediction of future risks (Scenario Analysis) and participates in the development of models and algorithms for forward-looking risk predictions. Finally, she has extensive experience in environmental quality and management issues, as well as in the relationship that an activity can have with the global Biogeochemical Cycles of elements, one of which is the carbon cycle related to Climate Change. She has worked for many years (2013 – 2019) as a research associate in projects of the Institute “GEOMAR Helmholtz Centre for Ocean Research Kiel” in Kiel (Germany) and the University of Athens (Laboratory of Environmental Chemistry). She has participated in land and oceanographic missions in Greece and abroad with the aim of assessing environmental quality and environmental risks, managing environmental issues and developing decision-making methods and tools for environmental monitoring. Dr. Louropoulou is a graduate of the Department of Chemistry of the University of Athens and holds a master’s degree in “Chemistry and Environmental Technology”. In 2019 she was awarded a PhD in Natural Sciences (Dr. rerum naturalium) from the University of Christian-Albrechts-Universität in Kiel (Germany) for her thesis in the field of Environmental Chemistry and Oceanography. She has also received training seminars on sustainable development. Finally, she has participated in numerous conferences on Environmental Science and part of her scientific work has been published in peer-reviewed scientific journals

Matilda is a frequent speaker on the topics of global innovation and digital disruption. She is also an avid cook and history buff. You can find him dining late at night with the chefs of the hotels where he stays during his travels, or reading in his home library.
