The aim of the seminar is to understand the importance of immediately restoring the operation of a unit or organization that has occurred from a sudden interruption of operations. Preparation for such a risk is now imperative for every organization and there must be a response plan to execute for each such case

Senior Risk Consultant, Aon
Yiannis Papageorgiou is a business risk management consultant at Aon Greece which is a leading organization providing risk management services and insurance mediation. He has many years of experience in property risk assessments, business interruption, business continuity planning and crisis management as well as in safe conduct in the workplace. He also specializes in privacy risk management, as well as in investigation of incidents of insurance losses in the fields of property insurance, business interruption, construction works, professional liability and product liability. Within Aon he also performs the duties of Data Protection Officer. He has worked as an insurance claims expert at Crawford, as a risk management consultant at EXL and as an engineer at Dixons and ABB. He holds a degree in electrical engineering from the Technological Educational Institute of Piraeus, holder of an MSc degree in Piraeus, holder of an MSc degree in the Agricultural University of Athens, specializing in energy management & renewable energy sources and PhD candidate of the same University, focusing on the management of business risks in the agro-food sector with the use of modern technologies. In the past he has written for the Journal Periscope of Science. He is a member of the Panhellenic Association of Risk Management Executives. From 2021 began awriting activity with the publication of a book of literary content, in collaboration with Fylatos Publications.
