CRO at Export Credit Greece SA
Katerina Koniari, is since December 2022 CRO at Export Credit Greece SA. Katerina has worked for over 25 years in various positions of responsibility (Head of Finance and Control & MIS, Ratings Systems development, etc.) in the banking sector and since 2014 she was Assistant General Manager, Head of Group Corporate and Investment Banking Credit Control Division and Head of Group Risk Management Strategy Planning and Operations Division at Eurobank.
She is a graduate of the Department of Mathematics of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens and holds two postgraduate degrees from the London School of Economics and Political Sciences (MSc in Analysis, Design and Management of Information Systems) and from ALBA (ALBA-Eurobank MBA in Financial Services). She is also a certified ESG Analyst by EFFAS (European Federation of Financial Analysts Societies) and a GARP SCR holder.
Before joining ECG, Katerina was Principal, Head of Financial Services Risk Management at Grant Thornton Greece, leading various advisory and audit projects at major systemic banks and one of the 15 members of the ECB Banking Supervision Market Contact Group.
